Bringing Stories to Life with Interpretive Signage

What do parks, museums and historical sites all have in common? They feature interpretative signage!

Signage plays a crucial role in creating an informative and respectful experience for visitors. Through storytelling, signage helps guide the visitor by explaining where they are, what they can see and the importance of it.

Here at The Exhibitionist, we have experience of working with communities, stake holders and artists in order to achieve inclusive, respectful and educational signage to showcase and highlight their important stories.

Community Engagement

We’re proudly Territory-based and community is at the heart of everything we do. From supporting local businesses and artists to creating opportunities in remote regions, we believe in meaningful engagement that has real impact.

We work closely with Traditional Custodians, remote communities, and local organisations to ensure our projects give back. Whether that’s through skills sharing, cultural consultation or co-designing experiences that reflect the voices of the people who live there. Our commitment goes beyond business, it’s about building strong relationships, fostering local pride, and celebrating the rich diversity of the Northern Territory.

3D Model Making

From architectural models to educational replicas and exhibition features, we create detailed, high-quality models that bring ideas to life. Our process combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques like CNC routing, laser cutting, and 3D printing. Whether it’s a scaled terrain map or a custom-built display object, we ensure accuracy, finish, and functionality.

Cultural Storytelling Installations

We work in close partnership with Traditional Owners, Indigenous communities and local artists to deliver projects that honour culture and share stories with authenticity and respect.

With deep experience in Indigenous design and cultural heritage work, we prioritise meaningful consultation, seeking direction, cultural insight, and permission every step of the way. Our team collaborates with Indigenous artists to bring their stories and artworks to life in powerful, place-based installations.
