Located in the heart of Kununurra, Gulliver’s Tavern faced the challenge that many remote businesses do; how to create branding and merchandise without the guidance of someone in person. After a quick online search, they found us, The Exhibitionist, experts in design and signage.
We began by crafting a unique logo inspired by their love of vintage motorbikes, capturing the essence of their business and giving it a timeless, rugged feel that resonated with both locals and travellers.

How Gulliver’s Tavern found their visual identity with the help of The Exhibitionist and took it on the road.
We designed a banner that complemented the stunning Kununurra landscape, creating a visual statement that drew people in. The banner became a welcoming beacon, perfectly representing the tavern’s charm and inviting visitors from all over. To ensure the branding extended beyond just the logo and banner, we expanded into custom merchandise, including stubby coolers, stickers, and bumper stickers that not only served as practical souvenirs but also as moving advertisements.
For Gulliver’s Tavern, these branded items became a tangible connection with customers, whether they were tourists taking home a piece of their adventure or locals showing their support. In the world of remote businesses, creating memorable memorabilia helps build lasting relationships and spread brand awareness, all while telling a story of adventure, nostalgia, and community.

The Darwin Waterfront makes for a unique and magical setting for a holiday display. That’s why we were proud to take on a project for a surf shack themed Christmas display. Our team of skilled graphic designers and builders got to work creating a custom design that captured the laid-back, beachy vibe of a surf shack, while also incorporating the festive spirit of the holiday season.
This Visitor Centre was designed to celebrate the richness and complexity of the Jawoyn culture using sculpture, illustration and signage. Working closely with the Jawoyn community, The Interpretive Design Company and John Van Der Kolk the entire exhibition is themed on the Jawoyn five seasons calendar.
We designed and installed a custom-built Easter Maze at Casuarina Square. The maze featured colourful Easter theming, decorations and interactive elements, creating a fun and engaging seasonal attraction for kids and families.
